Inspired by the rich marine life of Southern Africa, this handcrafted wooden turtle sculpture reflects the gentle strength and ancient presence of sea turtles found along our coastline. Carved from natural wood and shaped by hand, each piece celebrates the organic forms, textures, and movement of the ocean. The natural grain and contours of the wood are carefully preserved, allowing the sculpture to echo the resilience and calm rhythm of marine life.

Inspired by the Knysna seahorse (Hippocampus capensis), one of the world’s most endangered and locally endemic marine species, this handcrafted wooden sculpture pays tribute to a living symbol of the Knysna Lagoon. Carefully carved by hand, the sculpture captures the seahorse’s delicate form, gentle curves, and quiet strength, reflecting its unique presence in these protected waters. The natural grain and texture of the wood enhance the organic flow of the piece, echoing the seahorse’s connection to seagrass beds and tidal rhythms. Created by local artisans, this sculpture celebrates biodiversity, conservation, and the cultural identity of Knysna—honouring a rare species found nowhere else on earth.
Wooden Sculptured Seal

Carved by hand from natural wood, the flowing lines and smooth contours reflect the seal’s graceful movement through water and its close relationship with the sea. The natural grain and texture of the wood are intentionally preserved, allowing each piece to express its own character and organic beauty.
